"The Art of Making Mezcal in Oaxaca"
by Renée Alexander in Vice Munchies

Writing is an Incurable Disease

If you ever catch the writing bug, you’ll never fully recover. You’ll find yourself thinking about writing, looking for things to write about, and wondering if anyone will ever read what you write, much less pay for it.

grassrootsPR’s founder, Renée Alexander, caught the writing bug early in life. She suffers from relapses every few months or so. Recent stories have focused on making mezcal, eating Indian truck stop food, drinking in Oaxaca, and breeding genetically-engineered mosquitoes.
