Renée Davidson
Raised
in the rural South, this Tarheel worked her way through college
and graduate school, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication
Arts and Psychology from Catawba
College and a Master's degree in Speech Communication from UNC-Greensboro.
She spent a year teaching public speaking and marketing The
Learning Center for Forsyth
Technical Community College.
An
eight-year resident of Bend, Renée Davidson has written about
politics, education and the environment for numerous local publications,
including the Source, bend.com,
Bend Bugle and Cascade
Business News. She served as managing editor of the Source for a
year before taking over as editor of Internet
News Bureau in October of 1998. When the company was acquired
by internet.com in October
1999, Davidson stayed on as business manager of INB, before launching
Grassroots PR. As a board member for Wild Wilderness and
Human Dignity Coalition, she develops messages and organizes events
that promote public lands, economic justice and diversity.
A
typical Virgo, Davidson is known for her close attention to detail,
strong dedication to service and exceptional communication skills.
She puts her analytical nature to work for clients by generating
clever ideas, creating persuasive messages, writing compelling copy
and building lasting coalitions. In her spare time, she can be found
playing bridge, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, mountain biking
and savoring local microbrews.
