Renée Davidson

Raised in the rural South, this Tarheel worked her way through college and graduate school, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts and Psychology from Catawba College and a Master's degree in Speech Communication from UNC-Greensboro. She spent a year teaching public speaking and marketing The Learning Center for Forsyth Technical Community College.

An eight-year resident of Bend, Renée Davidson has written about politics, education and the environment for numerous local publications, including the Source, bend.com, Bend Bugle and Cascade Business News. She served as managing editor of the Source for a year before taking over as editor of Internet News Bureau in October of 1998. When the company was acquired by internet.com in October 1999, Davidson stayed on as business manager of INB, before launching Grassroots PR. As a board member for Wild Wilderness and Human Dignity Coalition, she develops messages and organizes events that promote public lands, economic justice and diversity.

A typical Virgo, Davidson is known for her close attention to detail, strong dedication to service and exceptional communication skills. She puts her analytical nature to work for clients by generating clever ideas, creating persuasive messages, writing compelling copy and building lasting coalitions. In her spare time, she can be found playing bridge, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, mountain biking and savoring local microbrews.
